The Senior Manager, Implementation is responsible for leading and owning the transition of new customers to the TRIMEDX clinical engineering program, as well as the process of transitioning customers out of the TRIMEDX program. This role is also responsible for the successful deployment and project management of our advanced product offerings. This role will directly manage the Implementation project manager team and is responsible for the oversight of all their implementation activities, including integrated service planning, resource assessment, hardware procurement (GeoSense), project planning, training coordination, customer facing communications, and coordination of all internal TRIMEDX business units impacted by new customer transitions to ensure a timely and effective startup of the clinical engineering program.
This role will work closely with key elements of both inventory validation and operational stabilization to achieve desired outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives. The position also requires constant interaction and coordination through key operational leadership where appropriate. This position plays a secondary role leading and participating in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects. Significant travel and schedule flexibility are mandatory to effectively lead and participate in all aspects of new customer transitions and related on-site customer interactions. This role will also be expected to assist Commercial Operations with strategic initiatives and decisions regarding future state and direction of the Implementation teams.

Location: Candidates must currently reside in the Eastern or Central Time zones with close proximity to a major airport. Position is Hybrid: Remote (work from home) with required business travel (50%+), which includes traveling to our Indianapolis Central Office.

Responsibilities         Â
Department Leadership (50%)
• Apply knowledge and experience of implementation process to oversee day-to-day activities and provide direction to others.
• Assign tasks to implementation project team and ensure that timelines are created and executed.
• Assess resource allocations to ensure proper project disbursement to all team members.
• Motivate others through praise, recognition, and rewards.
• Manage personnel by staffing and scheduling Implementation Project Manager team as needed to support all new sales opportunities.
• Coach and mentor team members by providing feedback on performance and work habits.
• Own continuous updates to key processes and plans for the team by ensuring the latest deployment templates are maintained utilizing the preferred project management software system.
Customer Implementation Projects (30%)
• Assemble and direct cross-functional teams to lead projects including customer clinical engineering, advanced product deployment, and customer offboarding when applicable.
• Coordinate new Geosense projects including hardware deployment and resource staffing needs.
• Communicate with advanced product owners to stay up to date on key processes, areas for improvement, and strengthened partnerships.
• Facilitate customer facing implementation meetings, startup meetings and continuing education to the TriMedx program for the clinical and administrative staff within new client sites.
• Meet with clients to evaluate program current state and identify implementation needs and site specific objectives.
• Effectively create and manage timeline for each implementation task (Inventory Validation, Planning Preparation, Customer Conference Calls, Orientation Coordination, Go-Live for RSQ, Customer Service Center, ISP validation, resource planning, and internal coordination of all business units).
• Facilitate key project events with internal and external business unites including but not limited to; converting site from existing program to TRIMEDX Medical Equipment Management program (policies, MEMP, service documentation process, EOC reporting process, etc.), transitioning technical setup of phone/online work order placements, managing the onboarding timeline of new associates, coordinating new associate training, etc.
• Provide direction and support to Implementation Project Managers as needed.
Continuous Improvement (20%)
• Provide meaningful feedback to assist in process refinement.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives around customer transitions.
• Serve as project manager or project participant on corporate-wide continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
• Leadership: Provide clear direction to ensure collective achievement of goals and objectives. Create an environment of respect, collaboration, and open communication.
• Associate Development: Identify and support development needs of direct reports and team members including connecting them to resources both internally and externally to ensure a culture of continuous improvement.
• Associate Engagement: Create high levels of employee engagement by understanding organizational and personal drivers that impact drivers and developing action plans that deliver increased engagement.
• Performance management: Set clear goals and expectations for teams, monitor, and enable performance and intervene with appropriate action when performance gaps occur and provide timely, honest feedback. Ensure that associates complete assigned actions by required deadlines.
• All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in a customer facing operations support role, healthcare business process, Clinical Engineering (CE) operations or related field is required. A minimum of three years of experience managing a team is required.
• Previous experience with continuous improvement, lean, or six sigma initiatives is highly preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Project management skills including coordination, communication and adherence to budget and completion goals, prioritization and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Including Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook) and other service management software.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Smartsheet preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of hospital and medical equipment industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge of processes and procedures related to equipment service management.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Joint Commission and other equipment-related regulations.
Education and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare or related field is required, or equivalent experience. MBA is preferred.Â
