The Supply Chain Enterprise Partnerships Vice President will be a member of the Supply Chain leadership team and will have primary responsibility to engage and interact with our client’s Supply Chain organizations to develop mutual beneficial partnerships between the two Supply Chain groups. This interaction may include organizing regularly scheduled meetings and integrating with the client’s Supply Chain program to cultivate partnerships that mutually benefit, to include but not limited to, improving TRIMEDX OEM relationships and entitlements.

This role will be a member of the Supply Chain leadership team to include integration with TRIMEDX Strategic Sourcing and Shared Services groups to help strategically guide key TRIMEDX OEM relationships, entitlements and opportunities for improvement.  They will participate in joint negotiations with OEM suppliers in alignment with TRIMEDX Sourcing and/or the clients' Supply Chain group. They will work with GPO to understand needs and build a strategy for future purchases.

This role will work with the TRIMEDX Client Excellence and CAM teams on all items related to client requests for information about the TRIMEDX Supply Chain program. The expectation is to develop and maintain strong relationships, promote the program and leverage our clients’ influence to improve OEM relationships that mutually benefit both our Client and TRIMEDX.  In addition to Client Excellence, this role will help support the Business Development sales cycle to include cultivating new business, representing TRIMEDX Supply Chain in commercial pursuits to cultivate early Supply Chain enterprise partnerships.

The Role will integrate with the TRIMEDX Right-To-Repair Advocacy group and efforts.  They will provide routine updates on current OEM relationship opportunities and updates back to the TRIMEDX supply chain and business on Advocacy efforts.

Location: Candidates must currently reside in the Eastern or Central Time zones with close proximity to a major airport. Position is Hybrid: Remote (work from home) with required business travel.

Responsibilities          

Client Supply Chain Partnership Development (40%)

• Establish and nurture mutually beneficial, long-term relationships with strategic clients Supply Chain leadership teams.

• Obtain agreement from Clients to help leverage capital influence to improve TRIMEDX OEM relationships.

•Interact with clients on a consistent basis to address ad hoc questions/issues around TRIMEDX Supply Chain program.

•Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs.

•Establish successful partnerships and work closely with internal and field operations teams to ensure a well-rounded approach to client management and to ensure maximum profitability within the client account.

Supply Chain Leadership and Negotiations (30%)

•Participate in Strategic Sourcing and Shared Services category management activities.

•Integrate with Strategic Sourcing group to be Subject matter expert on all key TRIMEDX OEM suppliers to include current relationships, entitlement and gaps.

- Support executive level relationship and engagement with Top OEMs.

- Support EBR management and large creative partnerships.

- Explore additional GPO partnership.

Business Development and Client Excellence and CAM Support (20%)

• Subject Matter Expert of TRIMEDX supply chain program or Client Supply Chain perspective.

• Participate in commercial pursuits as directed by Business Development team to include interaction with prospects on our Supply Chain Program and Relationships.

• Potential integration with CAM to support capital replacement initiatives with Clients.

TRIMEDX Advocacy Group Participation (10%)

•Develop and maintain key elements and entitlements needed from OEMs for Advocacy Group.

• Collaborate with Advocacy to help communicate efforts, programs and progress for Right to Repair.

• Be the champion between Supply Chain, suppliers and Advocacy and alliance participation

• Leadership: Provide clear direction to ensure collective achievement of goals and objectives. Create an environment of respect, collaboration, and open communication.

• Support development needs of the broader team by engaging with and mentoring junior associates in same groups and departments, as an indirect leader within the organization.

• Create high levels of associate engagement across teams in partnership with other key leaders within broader teams.

• All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 12 years’ experience within a Healthcare Provider Supply Chain or GPO Supply Chain to include medical equipment capital purchasing or related field is required. 

• Experienced negotiator for contracts and partnerships based on financial and operational needs.

• Demonstrated knowledge of financial principles, budgeting.

• Demonstrated and successful ability to navigate complex clients or suppliers.

• Strong executive level written, verbal and presentation communication skills.

• Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships in a matrixed environment.

• Deep knowledge of the healthcare industry.

• Strategic leadership skills to execute initiatives and objectives.

• Strong conflict resolution skills with demonstrated ability.

• Ability to be diplomatic in all situations.

• Strong influencing skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strategic perspective – demonstrated ability to orchestrate deals and long-term plans.

• Self-motivated/self-starter.

• Clear, concise communicator.

• Travel – 25% (overnight required).

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field is required, or equivalent experience.  MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
